Populus Music is an artist management company and creative network offering artist management, as well as music business consulting. Based out of Toronto, Ontario, and with five years of combined band and marketing management experience, as well as pursuing secondary education in the music business, Populus Music hopes to help fellow young artists in the music business grow their careers by mutually developing in an ever-changing industry. The primary goal of Populus Music is to present a wide array of artists across many musical styles to truly represent the music of the people. We strive to take ourselves beyond artist management.
About the Team
Josh Warriner, Founder & Artist Manager
I'm a eighteen-year old student with a passion for music and the industry around it. Thanks to a program partnered with the TEMPO Educates Foundation at my high school, I was able to work with industry professionals and gain experience with many facets of the music business throughout my four years in high school. I am now pursuing a post-secondary education in the Creative Industries at Ryerson University.
Through my work in high school, I was tasked along with some teammates with the role of band manager for Sonic Democracy, a long-running music program which writes, records, and performs live original and cover music. Thanks to this collaborative program with the TEMPO Educations Foundation, they have released two full-length studio albums. Through assisting in facilitating these two releases, I have gained a lot of experience with how the Canadian music business works, and have cultivated a passion for it.
This led me in June of 2018 to found Populus Music in order to pursue a career in the field I'm passionate about. I am the manager behind Bloom, Nathan Zinck, and Rylan Jeffrey.

I'm Brenna Larouche, and I'm an eighteen-year old marketing manager! Thanks to the opportunities presented to me through my time in Sonic Democracy, I have 2 years of experience in marketing, managing, distribution, and stage direction (and a bit of performance too). I've been a part of the release of 2 studio albums, countless concerts, and the filming of 2 music videos.
My passion and skills in the music industry led me to discover the Creative Industries program at Ryerson University, which I am currently studying under.
Although I've technically been working behind the scenes here at Populus Music for a while, I am happy to be officially taking on the role of marketing manager, where I'll be coordinating social media efforts, helping to bring upcoming releases together, and plenty more!
